Friday Fun

Today was so beautiful and we just couldn't resist going outside to play. First, I took Lucas for a walk around the block and then we came back home and layed on a blanket in the yard. We even had the dogs join us while we played. Lucas even let me put a hat on him, which he normally cannot stand! When I saw how cute he looked in a hat, I had to push it farther and put on his sunglasses! He actually walked around the block with his sunglasses on, he's so cool.




















When Daddy got home, we headed down to GiGi's for our traditional Friday night dinner.
We gave Lucas a bath before we went so that we could put on his "night-night" while we were down there and then put him straight to bed when we got home. Lucas did great and slept the entire ride down to Marietta. When we got there, he woke up and entertained everyone. I took a bunch of pictures with Lucas and each of the guests that are usually there almost every Friday night.

Most of the family began making our plates with chicken, green beans, creamed corn, ocra, rice and the best salad ever! Pop-Pop and Lucas were playing with a bell and getting thrown up in the air.










Since Lucas is now eating rice cereal, he gets to eat at the table with the grown-ups. He likes his cereal so much that before you can get more on the spoon, he is yelling at you!










After dinner, we got Luke's toys out and he played on the floor. Then, we put on his "night-night" which happened to make him look like a Jail-bird!!!
